I hate these cameras they are horrible…

I hate these cameras they are horrible they freeze all the time and don’t capture everything and take forever to turn on when you want to look at live camera of someone is gonna break in this camera wouldn’t do crap to help!!’Never buy again and recommend you don’t buy if you want reliable protection

I would give a zero or negative numbers…

I would give a zero or negative numbers if I could. It's literally impossible to contact these people. I finally got through once and they pretty much put up every wall they could to help me. Completely completely suck. There's always issues with the cameras either just not coming on, or a constant buffering, or a notice saying it appears my cameras are offline. Would be nice to be able to contact them and ask them what is going on. If I could, I would completely get rid of them and buy from another company. You think they would actually care about their product and their customers? Apparently, not a chance.

This is the worst and most frustrating…

This is the worst and most frustrating company i have ever dealt with!
Having purchased a expensive Arlo Cctv system and subscribing (paying monthly), nothing works as it should .
I specifically bought it for the ability to select what it detects, ie people and not animals or movement.
The equipment issue is big, but compared to customer service (which is none existent)……
I’m now having to go to the expense of replacing them.

I am beyond disgusted with ARLO

I am beyond disgusted with ARLO! The case has been escalated to an engineer who determined that a refund should not be provided as the problem was intermittent and not permanent - even though it is actually permanent now - I was asked for receipts which I provided and told to answer just one more question - which i did - before a refund would be issued. Absolutely unbelievable, how can a security system be sold and then be acceptable for it to fail intermittently and go offline for weeks?
Official complaints have been completely ignored, not one phone call or email even though the policy states that a reply should be provided within 2 days.
I feel like i am dealing with scam artists who have taken hundreds of pounds for a product that does not work and then refuse to provide support or refund it.
ARLO - you are a fraudulent company.

Hopeless Customer Service

Well I’m having problems with my Arlo system, basically the cameras won’t record although they are connected to the hub. Trying to get help is difficult and slow. I have been without a service for weeks now. If only I had read these reviews before buying. Clearly Arlo don’t care as there are so many bad comments. I wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole!
Update, I have now scrapped my Arlo system and bought NEST security cameras. Please research before buying Arlo as I have wasted a great deal of money,

Horriable services

Horriable services. They claim on their webpage that they accept Visa but now i tried 4 different Visa cards and they refusion to accept them.

this is the worst-cameras go off line…

this is the worst-cameras go off line constantly-have to get firmware updates that don't come-support sucks- i asked for my money back and they said no way. the system is useless without a subscription and when i finally bought it it wouldn't record so i had to cancel. this is not a good company.

Extorsion company. Stay away.

They have remotely deactivated my camera holding it ransom for a subscription.
It was free when I bought it.
Cannot recommend this company at all.

I purchased an Arlo Essentials camera…

I purchased an Arlo Essentials camera three months ago. The spotlight no longer works. Their tech support is useless--three hours total of waiting. Warranty is useless as they won't send the RA they said they would send. I have two other previously purchased Arlo cameras but will move to another platform rather than buy from them again.

DO NOT BUY ARLO!

Warning to anyone. DO NOT BUY ARLO!
It's been a terrible experience to buy Arlo 3 Pro cameras. The base station has been so unstable and glitchy that I couldn't travel and know they wouldn't just randomly turn off, leaving me without information of the state of the house for months. I had to have people travel across the country to check on our house, because the police wouldn't be able to get in touch with us.
And now they do this crap with making Two-factor authentication mandatory, making their already unstable solution close to unusable.
I am going to go for a consumer return, based on the fact that this product is now unusable considering their changes in authentication.

Not a good product for the $$$ spent.

Although I haven't contacted customer support (I don't feel like I should have to this early after purchase and I googled the problem seeing many results) I am very disappointed in this product. I just did a
Security walk around with the system enabled. Even though the spot lights are activated when I walk by my four cameras, the system doesn't send out alert or record for two out of four cameras. Earlier today I read up on this problem and rebooted the Arlo server. I even resynched one of the cameras that was not responsive. I wish I had never spent over 400$ for this system. This is not 'rocket science'. It should work consistently out of the box. For the very high price I would expect a solid system. After googling others that have had those problem and the response from their customer service that doesn't permanently fix this problem I have lost hope that this is a good security system. Look elsewhere before spending the $$$.

Why Arlo Camera don't even deserve a One star

I have bought 2 ARLO Pro system with a tatal of 5 cameras in the past 2 years probably spent close to $ 1000.00. I bought it because they have free cloud storage for seven days supposedly. But really I was only able to play back history recordings in one day. Now after the recent update from Arlo, they prevented the cameras from working unless you buy the very expensive subscription. The cameras can no longer be use for motion alert, and live views, it would not even record on to your USB storage! What a waste of money!! This company is definitely a "RIP OFF", and " False advertisement !" They did not mention that the " free cloud storage" is only temporary. Beware of any products sold by this company!!
